My name is Toni, and I founded CyberClassyT Consulting because I understand how overwhelming cybersecurity can feel when you are starting from scratch.

As a woman in my 40s, my path into cybersecurity was not traditional. Before entering the field, I spent more than 15 years as a paralegal and five years as a technical recruiter. I began with limited hands-on technical experience and had to navigate certifications, labs, training platforms, and career transitions through research, self-study, persistence, and determination.

Like many people trying to break into cybersecurity, I faced the uncertainty of not knowing where to start, feeling overwhelmed by too much information, trying to gain experience without already having a cyber role, and seeing “entry-level” positions ask for years of experience.

That experience inspired me to create a beginner-friendly guide filled with practical, affordable resources to help others learn cybersecurity and bridge the gap between knowledge and real-world skills. Get Guide

At CyberClassyT Consulting, I help aspiring cybersecurity professionals build foundational skills through a beginner-friendly roadmap, free and low-cost training resources, hands-on lab recommendations, and practical skill development support resources.

I believe cybersecurity should be more accessible. Not everyone can afford expensive college programs, boot camps, or costly training subscriptions, and no one should feel excluded from getting started because of those barriers.
